Release Agent

A conscious exploration of that indeterminate space between two materials, Release Agent is a deliberately created membrane between broken stones and red-dyed beeswax.
The piece explores the space that is not stone nor wax, but a transference of materials; each imprinting its essence on the other. The stone is rough with an unyielding surface and the wax, is volatile and malleable, exposing the imprint of the stone and the result of the collision of these two entities.
