When I begin to approach a concept, I draw upon the encyclopedia of my mind that holds information about art, religion, architecture, artifacts, cultures and then they begin to assimilate themselves into a physical form. The goal, for lack of a better word, is for the viewer to be invested in the question the piece poses.
