“Delta” is the 4th letter in the Greek alphabet and is in the shape of a triangle. The Greek root, denotes a transformative force promoting change and development. The sign and the word Delta, also refers to a piece of land in the shape of a triangle bordered by two rivers, such as the Nile Delta in Egypt. These two ideas of fertility and transformation are the informing factors behind the conception of this sculpture.
“The triangle is a shape that everyone can identify with; it’s a simple shape that we all encounter every day.”
